Fan club
Despite the fact that "Khazar-Lenkoran" has been created in 2004, it’s one of the most popular clubs in the country. "White-green" fans can be met not only in such southern regions as Lenkoran, Astara, Masally, Lerik, Bilyasuvar and Neftchala, but in capital Baku and Sumgait city as well. And it is not surprising that during guest matches against the capital commands, the majority of people are fans of "Khazar-Lenkoran".
In competitions of the championship and the cup of Azerbaijan all fan-records belong to fans of "Khazar-Lenkoran". All four matches, which have collected the greatest quantity of the fans, have passed with participation of "Khazar-Lenkoran". In three matches our club played against "Neftchi", and one of the matches has passed with participation of "Inter".
In last season (2008/2009) "Khazar-Lenkoran" played 16 home matches on the central stadium "Khazar-Lenkoran". These meetings observed by 142800 persons, according to the official reports. This indicator is equal to the average 8925 persons per game. Indicators of other clubs of our country are comparatively small.
It is necessary to mention one fact that the quantity of fans of "Khazar-Lenkoran" increases every year. If 4-5 years ago (season 2004/2005) on the average home games of our club visited 5270 persons, in the season 2006/2007 in which our club has done «gold double», the number of fans has reached 6545 persons (if not taking into account matches for the Cup of Azerbaijan this number equals 6810 persons). As already been noted above, last year's figures even higher – 8925 persons. This indicator has coincided for not such successful season of 2008/2009 years. The official fan-club of football club "Khazar-Lenkoran" has been created in August of 2004 year and bears the name «Khazar-Lenkoran FAN LTD».
The head of the fan-club which situated in the territory of central stadium "Khazar-Lenkoran" is Mr. Samir Gasimov. Constant members of fan-club do not leave without support the club during guest and foreign matches. There are strict rules to become fan-club member. Despite this, quantity of members of fan-club invariably grows. Any person wishing to become «official fan» of the club can address in writing form to the fan-club. It is no wonder that Mr. Mubariz Mansimov, who had exclusive merits in creation of Football Club "Khazar-Lenkoran", and at the moment honourable president of the club, in one of his speechs has declared fan-club and fans of our club the following: «Today the fan-club of "Khazar-Lenkoran" one of the biggest structures of the country and it first of all is connected with sympathy and love of our fans. The love is not on sale, it should be deserved ». Besides official fan-club "Khazar-Lenkoran" there are separate, independent fans-clubs and groups of fans. The fan-club "Firtina", which has collected Baku fans of our club under its banner, became the first independent community of fans in the history of the Azerbaijan football. Our club supported by such communities of fans as “Bakily","12th player" and "Bosman”. All these facts prove an original and distinguishing place of"Khazar-Lenkoran" in the Azerbaijan football.
All pride innovations made for the sake of football of the country. There was no such agiotage and serious fan movement of one club of the country, before creation of "Khazar-Lenkoran". In the end we wish to tell once again to the fans that our club always requires your support. Do not forget the words of the honourable president of the club Mr. Mubariz Mansimov: «Khazar-Lenkoran is the club of the fans!».
