I have been invited here by “Khazar Lankaran” Football Club management to be introduced with the situation with central and reserve grounds of this club. After introduction and analyzing of this, I will prepare my recommendations on elimination of existing problems and improving the situation.

 

 

I liked too much the base, which has been made here. In my opinion this is the first step towards getting successful results for any club. But always there are some additional steps, which can improve the situation more. It means, improving is and endless process. But the foundation which put in “Khazar Lankaran” is really good.

 

 

Yes, problems exist. And amongst these problems there are some which we can easily solve, and also those, which demand huge efforts. I will think over what I see here and will declare my recommendations. Generally, I can say, that absolutely all the grounds have problems. In moments, when natural grass is in the poor situation or under construction, synthetic grass can help. Every natural ground is a lively organism like a man. Today you are healthy, tomorrow you can get ill and then you might be healed, but you might also die. That’s why all of this is quite normal and decidable things. The important thing is not to look for someone to accuse for what is happened, but too look forward and search the ways of solving the problem, and if it is possible to anticipate such problems before they happened. There is no problem which cannot be solved, everything can be solved.

 

 

Each club needs a big quantity of grounds. For example, “Real Madrid” has 7 pitches, including natural and synthetic only for the first team. Other teams of this club train and play on other grounds. Average club should have at least 2 grounds only for the first team. In this case it is possible to use one of them through one month and prepare another one for the next one, and so they will be exchanged with each other. I repeat, that we talk only about first team. Youth and child sections should have their own grounds.

 

Let return to synthetic pitches. If a club doesn’t have facilities to have two natural grounds, so it can construct synthetic one. Synthetic pitches differ from natural because they can get a huge pressure on themselves. You can use them 24 hours a day. They also demand less expenses for the care than natural ones. About the quality I can say that some synthetic pitches developed today are similar to natural ones for 95%. Apart from that, there is a winter period problem in Azerbaijan as in the whole Europe, when weather is worse and grass is not growing. For such conditions artificial grass is irreplaceable, while natural is resting and being restored. That’s why I think that any team should have at least one synthetic ground.

 

 

The work can be divided in three phases. First phase is restoring of the healthy grass and increasing roots of grass. It could be made for a month. Then in 40-60 days it is feasible to eliminate the problem of water staying on the grass, providing its penetration. And the third phase is solution of burning out problem of grass in summer period. There must be found out a method to provide stability of grass.
