The Statement of ”Khazar Lankaran” Football Club

Adverse incidents between police and “Khazar Lankaran” supporters after “Neftchi” – “Khazar Lankaran” match within the last matchday of Unibank Premier League has not stayed out of the club attention. “Khazar Lankaran” board held a meeting with Ministry of Internal Affairs authorized persons and all happened things was discussed. Club board expressed their concern about the inadequate force which was used by police. In their turn police officials promised to be more attentive to prevent such accidents.
As a club we announce, that “Khazar Lankaran” has never had problems with police organs and will fully try to avoid it in the future within club credentials. Incidents, which took place after the last match, occurred because of provocations by some persons, and neither club, nor police can be interested in such occasions.
“Khazar Lankaran” Football Club hopes such incidents will not be admitted further and club supporters security during away matches will be provided by law enforcement organs on high level.
